Event Reports
Motor Vehicle Accident
• There was a single vehicle injury accident in the 900 block of 195th Avenue SE in Dover Township. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled and came to rest approximately 20 feet into a cornfield. Upon arrival of emergency response people did not locate anyone at the scene. One individual was brought back to the scene while responders were on scene. This individual was transported to the hospital by St. Charles Ambulance. A second individual was located hours later and transported via Mayo Helicopter. This accident remains under investigation.
• There was a single vehicle minor injury accident on County Road 3 in Kalmar Township. A vehicle was passing a tractor when the tractor made a left-hand turn. The vehicle did not strike the tractor but left the roadway. No citations were issued.

Theft
• A resident in the 100 block of Byron Avenue North in the City of Byron reported a theft of a compact disc player. Three individuals were taken into custody in Kasson for theft. The compact disc player in this case was located with those three subject. Charges for Theft are pending.
• A resident in the 4000 block of 40th Street SW in Rochester Township reported a theft. Approximately $1500 in plumbing supplies and equipment were reported stolen.

Found Property
• A deputy traveling in the 1100 block of 60th Avenue NW in Kalmar Township located a toolbox in the roadway.

Vehicle Fire
• Deputies along with Rochester Fire Department responded to Shar’s Country Palace for a vehicle fire. A 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was heavily damaged by fire.

Motor Vehicle Accident
• There was a minor injury car vs. semi tractor-trailer accident at 6th Street SE and County Road 6 in High Forest Township. Jeffrey Lee Hughes was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
• There was a one vehicle non-injury accident in the 5200 block of County Road 1 in Marion Township. The driver swerved to miss a deer and went off the roadway.

Harassment
• A Marion Township business reported phone harassment. A female from the twin cities area has made approximately 130 calls in recent weeks. Through the investigation is was learned that the suspect suffered a severe brain injury and has other medical issues.

Recovered ATV
• A High Forest Township resident reported an ATV in a creek. It has not been determined if the ATV was stolen or abandon.

Damage to Property
• A Leroy resident reported damage to a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of County Road 6 SW in High Forest Township. The damage is estimated at $5000.
