Theft

• An Anhydrous tank at the 6400 block of Highway 14 East in Marion Township had been tampered with and Anhydrous Ammonia was taken.

Suspicious Circumstances

• A padlock was missing from a door and a window was broken at the 4200 block of Highway 63 North.
• A loud noise was reported being heard and a vehicle with several people at the 1200 block of Harbor Drive S.E., Rochester. The individuals scattered from the location. The vehicle has several windows broken, a tire was blown out and what appeared to be numerous gun shot marks.

• At the 9000 block of 125 Street N.E., Pine Island, a bullet hole was reported in a barn.

Burglary

• A residential burglary was reported at the 3000 block of County Road #3 S.W., Byron. Numerous items were taken including to include a TV, TV Stand, clothes, surround sound speakers, X-Box game console, and movies.
• Entry was gained to a residence at the 4200 block of Highway 63 North.

Theft

• A wallet and purse were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at the 300 block of 4 Street N.E. in Stewartville.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery

• A vehicle taken from the City of Rochester was recovered at the 2400 block of Melody Street S.E., Marion Township.

• Stereo and fishing equipment were stolen from a Pontoon parked in a driveway located at the 300 block 5 Avenue, N.E in Byron. The estimated value of the loss is $850.

• At the 200 block of 10 Street, N.E. in Byron, a pumpking was thrown causing damage to a vehicle windshield.

Theft

• Money and a MP3 player were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at the 500 block of 5 Avenue S.E. in Stewartville. Approximate loss is $220.

Motor Vehicle Accident

• No injuries were reported in a two vehicle accident at County Road #4 and County Road #103, N.W. in Kalmer Township. No citations were issued.

Fire

• Pine Island Fire responded to a fire at the 3500 block of 110 Street N.W. in Oronoco Township. The shed is a total loss.

Burglary

• A guitar was taken from the porch of a residence located at the 300 block of 2 Avenue N.W. in Stewartville.
• Entry was gained and a cash drawer was taken from the business located at the 800 block of the Frontage Road N.E. in Byron.
• Forced entry was made to a garage located at the 300 block of 5 Avenue S.E. in Dover. Taken was a racing dirt bike and racing apparrell valued at $7,000.

• A portable air compressor was taken from the back of a pickup truck at the 2100 block of Falcon Terrance N.W. in Stewartville. The compressor was valuds at $340.

Burglary

• No sign of force entry to a shop at located at the 13000 block of 20 Street, S.E. in Eyota Township. A computer, video camera and digital camera were taken for a lost of $1699.

Motor Vehicle Accident

• A two vehicle non-injury accident was reported at County Road # 4 and 50 Avenue N.W. in Cascade Township. Matthew R Poulter was cited for Inattentive Driving.

• A TV and entertainment system valued at $3,500 was taken from the 600 block of Timerline DR S.E., Oronoco.
• A residential burglary was reported at the 11000 block of 100 Street S.W. in Rock Dell Township. Entry was gained through an unlocked bedroom window and taken were handguns, a playstation with games, and DVD movies with a valued at $3,000. A vehicle was broken into and Ipod was taken.

Theft

• A radio was taken from a vehicle located at the 800 block of 3 Avenue, N.E. in Byron.
• A blue and silver Yamaha ATV was taken from an unlocked shed at the 11000 block of Highway 52 S.E in Orion Township.
• A red and block motorcyle was taken from an unlocked shed at the 16000 block of 70 Street S.E., from Elmira Township.
• A digital camera, cell phone and a checkbook was taken from unlocked vehicle located at the 500 block of 4 Avenue, S.E. in Stewartville.

Damage to Property

• A side mirror was damage on a vehicle at the 200 block of 9 Street, N.E. in Byron.
• A vehicle window was broken on a vehicle at the 600 block of 3 Avenue N.E. in Byorn. Nothing was reportly taken from the vehicle.
• A rear window was broken on a vehicle at the 700 block of 1 Avenue N.E. In Byron. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Clinton Dawayne Robinson was arrested for Felony Domestic Assault by Strangulation, Malicious Punishment of a Child (two counts), Domestic Assault (three counts), Child Endangerment (three counts) & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Burglary
• A resident in the 500 block of 23rd Street NW in the City of Stewartville reported a unwanted guest/intruder. Mark Edward Smith was arrested for 1st Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Criminal Damage to Property, Gross Misdemeanor Domestic Assault, 5th Degree Assault and Trespassing.

Motor Vehicle Accident
• There was a single vehicle injury accident in the 900 block of 195th Avenue SE in Dover Township. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled and came to rest approximately 20 feet into a cornfield. Upon arrival of emergency response people did not locate anyone at the scene. One individual was brought back to the scene while responders were on scene. This individual was transported to the hospital by St. Charles Ambulance. A second individual was located hours later and transported via Mayo Helicopter. This accident remains under investigation.
• There was a single vehicle minor injury accident on County Road 3 in Kalmar Township. A vehicle was passing a tractor when the tractor made a left-hand turn. The vehicle did not strike the tractor but left the roadway. No citations were issued.

Theft
• A resident in the 100 block of Byron Avenue North in the City of Byron reported a theft of a compact disc player. Three individuals were taken into custody in Kasson for theft. The compact disc player in this case was located with those three subject. Charges for Theft are pending.
• A resident in the 4000 block of 40th Street SW in Rochester Township reported a theft. Approximately $1500 in plumbing supplies and equipment were reported stolen.

Found Property
• A deputy traveling in the 1100 block of 60th Avenue NW in Kalmar Township located a toolbox in the roadway.

• Deputies along with Rochester Fire Department responded to Shar’s Country Palace for a vehicle fire. A 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was heavily damaged by fire.

Assault on a Correctional Officer

• A detainee spit on two correctional officers in the Adult Detention Center. The detainee also broke a sprinkler head in his cell. The male detainee is now awaiting charges of Assault on a Correctional Officer and Damage to Property.

Damage to Property

• A mailbox in the 2300 block of 45th Street SE in Marion Township was damaged by a pipe bomb. The damage is estimated at $100.

Theft

• A vehicle that was parked at the Rock Dell Township Hall was broken into. The loss is estimated at $500.
• A vehicle parked in the 6800 block of 60th Avenue NW in Oronoco Township was broken into. The loss is estimated at $700.

Structure Fire

• There was a garage fire in the 4000 block of Marion Road SE in Marion Township. The loss total is still being determined.

Burglary

• A resident in the 5200 block of 7th Street NW in Cascade Township reported a burglary. Three silo cords valued at $1140 were stolen from silos on the property.
• A resident in the 4100 block of 160th Avenue SE in Dover Township reported a burglary. Tools valued at $50 were stolen.
• A resident in the 8500 block of 60th Avenue NW in New Haven Township reported a burglary. The loss is estimated at $150.

Theft

• Pure Pleasure in High Forest Township reported a shoplifter. Shawn Renee Hinriches was cited for Theft of an item valued at $6.95.

• A resident in the 13000 block of 40th Street SE in Eyota Township reported a burglary.  The loss is estimated at $200.
• A resident in the 15000 block of 40th Street SE in Dover Township reported a burglary.  The loss is estimated at $350.

Motor Vehicle Accident

• There was a two vehicle non-injury accident at US Hwy 63 and 2nd Street SW in the City of Stewartville.
• There was a two vehicle minor injury accident on Center Street West in the City of Dover.  Ashley Lynn Staven was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
• There was a vehicle vs. deer accident in the 1800 block of County Road 14 in Cascade Township.  A passenger was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
